Bella Roma, a delicious local spot, provides plenty of flavors to satisfy any pasta lover’s craving. The chefs, Giavanni, Vito and Eddie, really know what they’re doing. Located at 1170 S. Neosho Blvd and open seven days a week, a person would hardly suspect such a place in our small town.
Vintage posters and prints, along with colorful fish, line the front of the spacious room. Luminous lights provide the perfect shadow on any dinner partner as the lulling voice of Dean Martin floats in the air. Finally, a map on the wall lets the patron know that they really must be in Italy.
A friendly staff adds to the experience. My waiter, Michelangelo, escorted me to a table where I was promptly served the soft, garlic dinner rolls I’d been hearing so much about. They more than lived up to their expectations.
If a customer doesn’t fill up on bread before his meal arrives, he may still need a to-go box. Rich, filling, flavorful and large portions make up the menu. Bella Roma’s menu also boasts hot sandwiches, such as the calzone, baked pastas, such as the manicotti, multiple seafood dishes, and pizza, which a person can build with whatever toppings they choose.
Bella Roma’s family recipes won’t disappoint. While a person can hardly go wrong with lasagna, Bella Roma’s rendition is especially tasty and affordable. Fresh, cheesy, and abundant in sauce, I highly recommend this dish for only $7.95.
Bella Roma, relatively new to Neosho, had their grand opening on May 17. There is no doubt, though, that if their quality stays consistent, they will be here for many years to come.
