Teniesha Balentine, originally from St. Louis, plans to pursue a career in Psychology.

What is your major?
Psychology.

What do you enjoy most about your major?
I feel as though I am good at understanding people, and as though I can read them.

What is your main goal towards your future?
Getting my doctorate in psychology.

After graduation, what career are you going to pursue in your field of study?
Chronical Psychiatrist because I like to help the mentally unstable.

Tell me about yourself.
I’m from St. Louis. I have five siblings. I have a twin sister.

Do you have a school of interest you want to transfer to after Crowder, If so where and why?
Missouri State University because they have a good program for my degree, as well as a good environment.

What is your ideal day at Crowder?
Wake up, go to class, eat, and then watch Netflix.

What on-campus or off-campus activities do you participate in your spare time?
I enjoy hanging out with friends, shopping, and eating at Buffalo Wild Wings.

What do you miss the most about home?
The food because my grandma makes it homemade.

If you could describe yourself in two words, what would those three words be?
Beautiful and kind.

Full-time.

What campus do you attend?
Neosho.

What is your ideal day at Crowder?
Wake up, go to class, eat, and then watch Netflix.

What is one thing you enjoyed the most about your freshman year?
The excitement of coming into college.

What is your main goal towards your future?
Getting my doctorate in psychology.

Who/what influenced your decision to attend Crowder College?
A teacher’s aide influenced me towards the degree of Vet Tech, but I’ve changed it since then.

What do you like or dislike most about the transition from high school to college?
You can have freedom to do what you want.

What do you feel has benefitted you the most educationally?
The classes that go towards my degree are what benefit me the most.

The internet, the lack of privacy, and the dorm curfew because they’re inconvenient.

My psychology class.
