Are you from Neosho or did you come here for school?
I came here to play soccer from Rogers, Ark.
How long have you been playing soccer?
For about 13 years.
Has anyone inspired you to play or continue playing?
My dad, Reuben. He used to play soccer.
What are your plans after Crowder College?
Transfer to University of Central Arkansas and keep playing soccer there.
The big debate between soccer fans is always Cristiano Ronaldo vs. Lionel Messi. Who do you think is better?
Messi I don’t dislike Cristiano but Messi all day.
Who is your favorite player or team?
Lionel Messi is my favorite player. F.C. Barcelona is my favorite team.
Who would your Mount Rushmore of your favorite players be?
Lionel Messi, Neymar, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Eden Hazard.
What are some of your pregame hype up songs?
I don’t really listen to music before games. I try to stay focused.
If you never played soccer, what sport do you think you would gravitate to?
Basketball. I play some pick-up games now, and it is fun.
What would be some advice you’d have for a little kid who wanted to play collegiately?
Keep up your grades. It’s cliché but you’re a student before you’re an athlete.
How do you balance school and soccer into one schedule?
Class in the morning, soccer in the afternoon, and homework afterward. It really isn’t that hard to balance out. I usually go home to Rogers for the weekend, so I have free time.
Who did you root for during the World Cup this summer?
Germany, but they lost to Mexico, so that was okay too.
What are some of your hobbies outside of class and soccer?
Photography and playing Fortnite.
What do you like to photograph?
Mostly nature and scenic stuff.
What is your favorite event that you’ve been to?
I went to my first concert recently. It was a Logic concert in Oklahoma and that was a lot of fun.
What is one food you could eat for the rest of your life?
Orange chicken.
What would you say is your favorite soccer memory?
When we won the state championship two years ago at Rogers High School.
What are some good Netflix recommendations you have?
Usually, I watch The Office or Friends.
What is your favorite and least favorite things about attending Crowder?
Being given the opportunity to play soccer and meet new people would be my favorite. When some of the hallways get cramped would probably be my least.
