Policies for letters and columns

Letters to the editor:

250 words or less, a letter to the editor expresses an opinion about a topic, often reflecting upon recent news coverage.

Guest columns:

750 words or less, a guest column is written by someone who has expertise in the field he/she is writing about or otherwise demonstrates credibility about the topic addressed.
