I would recommend Spider-man Homecoming if you are into action movies. This family-ish friendly movie hits the spot for any Web-Head fans out there.

It is directed by Jon Watts and casts several big-named actors: Tom Holland as 15-year-old Peter Parker/Spider-man, Michael Keaton as Adrian Toomes/Vulture, Zendaya as Michele and Jacob Batalon as Ned, Peter’s best friend.STINKS

The year is 2020, eight years after aliens invaded New York City for the first time. Peter Parker starts his freshman year at Midtown Tech and is beginning to get the hang of his spider powers. He has an “internship” with Tony Stark aka Iron Man, which means it is him swinging around the city waiting for his next mission from Iron Man.

No one knows that Peter is Spider-Man except Tony, so to everyone else, Peter is just a nerd going through high school doing high school things. Peter is struggling with being both Peter and Spider-man and is choosing Spider-man over his friends and the girl he likes, Liz, who is played by Laura Harrier.

I love the portrayal of Peter Parker in this film because this is how his creator, the late great Stan Lee, envisioned him to be; a teenage kid who is trying to do the right thing. The movie is rated PG-13, but I think it is viewable for all ages because there is no graphic content in the movie only superhero fight scenes.

If you enjoy movies in which the hero is torn down and fights his way back up to the top, you would love this movie.
