In June, the Crowder College Board of Directors voted unanimously to support the Regional Medical School Alliance to develop a medical school in Joplin. By working with Kansas City University of Medicines and Bioscience, Crowder will be able to provide opportunities for future students in the medical field. “Providing a more accessible program for our healthcare students, including premedical students, is a rare and significant opportunity,” according to the press release.
