Here is a list of activities you can do in the comfort of your own home, along with some dinner ideas as well.
Activities
- Play “Would you rather?”- A good way to learn more about the one you love.
- Give each other massages – Make your honey feel good…and earn yourself some brownie points.
- Have a video game night – This can be enjoyed together or alone.
- Have a theme night – Pick a theme and let that help you decide your menu, movie, games, etc…
- Host a book club for two – If you and your sweetie happen to be readers, discuss a good book you’ve both recently read.
- Get the Nerf or marshmallow guns out – Have a good-hearted, competitive war.
- Attempt to break a record – Find a world record you think you could break and go for it.
- Watch Netflix, Hulu or YouTube videos all night – a list of what’s available and recommended for Valentine’s Day is provided on this page.
- Have a camp out in your living room – Build a fort or a pallet and cozy up.
- Take some online personality quizzes – Compare/contrast your results to your significant others.
- Play Twister- Get all tangled up…
- Pull out some old board games – Game nights can be a fun way to spend an evening with someone special.
- Karaoke night – This a great way to show off your skills and enjoy the evening.
- Make lists – One fun idea is your dream vacation(s) list, where money is NO limit.

- Do “finger foods”- Anything from popcorn to celery sticks, and everything in between.
- Make homemade sweet treats – Lots of awesome cookie, doughnut, cake and pie recipes can be found online.
- Cook a fancy dinner and eat by candle light.
- Make your Valentine a homemade pizza (or make it together).
- Have breakfast in bed…yes, for dinner.
- Hot chocolate, tea or coffee – For an after-dinner treat, make some yummy warm drinks to snuggle up with. If the weather permits, enjoy your hot drinks on the porch.
