The student-produced media of Crowder College, the Crowder Sentry, recently won “Best Missouri Community College Newspaper” in a contest co-sponsored by the Missouri Press Association and the Missouri College Media Association.
Students also won awards in multimedia, video, and graphic design, which are aligned to the new Digital Media Marketing certificate’s learning outcomes.

Crowder will offer other communication-related courses this fall: Intro. to Public Relations and Digital Marketing, Intro. to Graphics Software (Adobe Illustrator), Photocommunication, and Intro. to Human Communication. Classes begin Aug. 21.
