Coffee lovers are sure to enjoy the delicious taste of Crazy Llama Coffee, and I was no exception. One sip and I was hooked.
Crazy Llama Coffee, conveniently located in the strip mall right in front of the Webb City Crowder College campus, serves hot, iced and frozen coffees. On my first visit, I opted for a frozen “Crazy Llama Mocha.” It’s a delicious, sugary mix of chocolate and caramel blended with coffee and ice into an ice cream-like texture.
But coffee isn’t the only thing on this little shop’s menu. It also offers chai lattes, organic teas, hot chocolate, Italian sodas and even fruit smoothies to those who aren’t fans of coffee.
The staff is kind and personable, and remember the names of frequent visitors. Going in and hearing “Hi, Maggie!” makes me thankful for the great employees they have, but also a little embarrassed that I’m considered a “regular.”
I’d like to think that the llamas hanging in huge portraits on the walls know me, as well. But if not, they’re great to at least smile at when taking a break from homework. Crazy Llama offers free Wifi, making it a great place to get caught up on school or to take care of work items.
The only downside is the size of the shop. It’s relatively small, and not ideal for study groups or business meetings of more than just a few people. However, they do have a drive-thru, making it convenient to get a caffeine-fix on the run.
Crazy Llama Coffee is similarly priced to any other coffee shop in the area, serves a variety of coffee and other beverage options and has a friendly staff. Plus, the giant llamas covering the walls are sure to brighten the gloomiest day.
