Local author Kent Farnsworth has reached $62,000 of his $70,000 fundraising goal to support the building of the Behavior Support Center at Crowder College, meant to help teach students to work with autistic children. If enough revenue is generated, the center will be named after Farnsworth’s autistic grandson, Maddox Hill. The fundraising deadline is June 30, with a July 8 ribbon cutting scheduled.
