Tyler Speakman, a Cassville Crowder freshman, aspires to be entrepreneur.
How long do you plan to study at Crowder (in Cassville)?
My plan is to study at Crowder for two years.
Tell me about yourself.
I like sports and being outside.
Are you a full or part-time student?
I am a full-time student at Crowder.
What campus do you attend?
I currently attend the Crowder College in Cassville.
What is your degree for your major?
I plan to major for a degree in business.
Would you prefer online or in school classes?
I think a mixture of both would be great.
What are your plans after graduation?
Hopefully, I’ll get a business degree and become a manager of my business somewhere in the future.
What is your dream job?
My dream job would be to own a business.
How do you feel about the business aspect?
I feel like it has great opportunities for a career.
Favorite thing about business?
My favorite thing about business is being better than the day before.
What business classes intrigue you?
I’m not sure about the classes yet.
Do you take on or off campus classes?
I take on campus classes.
What has been your biggest challenge so far at Crowder?
My biggest challenge is seeing how the teachers work so far.
What is the difference between college to high school?
The difference between college and high school would definitely be that more homework is given.
Is there a school in mind after Crowder?
I would like to go to either the University of Missouri-Kansas City or Missouri State University after I’m done at Crowder.
Shifting gears a bit, but what has been your most exciting experience?
The most exciting experience would be when I was at a Kansas City Royals playoff game.
What is your favorite sport?
My favorite sport is definitely baseball.
Is there a superpower you’d like to have?
I think invisibility would be fun.
What is your biggest strength?
My biggest strength is my will to succeed.
What is your biggest weakness?
My biggest weakness is getting out of bed in the mornings.
