The Central Ozark Conference art exhibit will be held March 27-April 17 at Longwell Museum. The exhibit includes Neosho, Carthage, Webb City and Carl Junction high schools.

Book sale seeks donations

The Friends of the Lee Library will hold a book s

ale on Apr. 3-5 in the Wright Conference Center on the Neosho campus. Donations of used books may be dropped off at the Lee Library. For more information, contact Eric Deatherage, library director, at 417-455-5610.

Campus rents “booths” for city wide sale

Campus Life is renting out parking lot spaces as booths to use for the city wide yard sale April 6-7. The booths are $20 for one, with each additional space being $10. For more information, contact campuslife@crowder.edu.

Neosho campus hosts career fair and networking luncheon

The Neosho campus will hold a career fair April 10 from 9 AM to 11:30 and 12:30 to 2:30 in the Wright conference center in Farber Hall. Area businesses will have tables set up to showcase their businesses and give information to prospective employees. Students can also participate in a “Chat and Chew” networking luncheon from 1

Princess Plays start in April

The Princess Plays will be held in the Elsie Plaster Community Center Auditorium on April 26-28, featuring two separate plays.

Foundation hosts car show

The Crowder Foundation will host the Roughrider Car Show on April 28, from 10a.m.-3p.m. There will be a $20 entry fee per vehicle. For more information or to register your car visit: http://www.crowder.edu/foundation/events/.

Lee Library to hold author symposium

The Friends of the Library will be hosting the second annual Local Author Symposium on May 2, from 10 am-5 pm in the Wright Conference Center. Interested authors can register by April 25 by going to: http://www.crowder.edu/academics/lee-library/authorsymposium and clicking the “Author Attendance Registration” button.

Crowder’s Vet Tech program has dogs, cats and bunnies available for adoption. The adoption fee is $25 for dogs and cats and $20 for the rabbits. Contact the Vet Tech program at 417-455-5772 or 417-455-5590 for more information.

FAFSA assistance available

The Educational Opportunity Center can help students complete their FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Students can make an appointment at eoc@Crowder.edu; call 417.455.5475 or stop by an EOC Office at Neosho, Cassville, Webb City and McDonald County.

Coaches reach feats

Baseball head coach Travis Lallemand and softball head coach John Sisemore both reached feats of their 500th and 200th win, respectively.

Roughriders ride along

The Roughrider’s baseball team are 24-7 for the season so far. They play Mineral Area College in 4 games on Mar. 29, Mar. 30, and Mar. 31.

Soccer team starts off strong

The soccer teams upcoming spring scrimmages include April 7th at John Brown University, April 14th at Columbia College, and April 21st against Southwest Baptist University.

Weather

Temperatures will warm up this weekend and then drop into the 40s on Easter with slight chance of snow. Temperatures will warm up again going into next week and rain chances will remain high.
