The 25th Annual Scholarship Banquet was held at Crowder College on Monday, Oct. 13 at 5:30 pm at the Bob Sneller Gymnasium on the Neosho Campus. Recipients of the scholarships were served a dinner that was catered by fellow students in the Crowder Aggie Club.

The Foundation awarded over 360 students, worth more than $220,000.

“The evening provides an opportunity for recipients and donors to meet each other” said Fred Clark who has served as the Foundation’s Scholarship Committee Chairman since 1964.

I think the donors find it rewarding to interact with students benefiting from their donations. Additionally, students see the value of someone going the extra mile to help them with their college expenses,”

The family of Dr. Dell Reed also received special recognition as the 2014 Crowder College Outstanding Alumni. Reed served as Crowder College President from 1968-1985. His wife, Louise, and each of their four sons attended Crowder.
